JR Reilly has a strong background in team work through his 13 years of NASA experience working with and leading very diverse national and International crews during three Space Shuttle Missions to MIR and the International Space Station. He currently works as a Lt. Commander in the Navy Reserves and volunteers countless hours with the National Ski Patrol. He also has gained unique experiences through his work with the Marshal Service, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Firefighter/EMT services.  JR Reilly is a very skilled motivational speaker for anyone seeking to make their team high performing.

Exploration

JR has a unique background in Geosciences and shares an adventurous story of exploration to places such as the Antarctica, the bottom of the ocean submerged in deep sea vehicles and as an Astronaut exploring the final frontier.

Continuous Improvement, Disaster Management and Best Practices

JR has spent extensive time in decision-making and disaster relief efforts with the Space Shuttle Columbia accident and post Hurricane Katrina rescue and recovery. These disasters provide JR with the ability to work with any organization in the business of pursuing Continuous Improvement efforts with a strong emphasis on safety and best practices.

STEM Education

JR currently works for the American Public University System as the Dean of Program Development and provides a perspective on the growing personalized online learning system for multiple disciplines. This includes the development of programs and degrees that are not available online yet, but demands creative ways of providing high quality programming, especially for military personnel who are serving overseas.
